Vote Frederick for Levitt AMP Concert Series!

Frederick is a two year receiver of the Levitt AMP grant, and is trying to go for a third year! Voting starts tomorrow, so be sure to vote for Frederick!

This matching-grant is through the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, a foundation dedicated to strengthening the social fabric of America through free live music. Each year the foundation gives 15 grants to different small towns and cities throughout the country, each receiving a matching $25 thousand for a minimum of 10 free outdoor concerts over 10-12 weeks.

Throughout the two years that Frederick has received the grant, the free concerts have promoted the goals of AMP: to amplify community pride and the unique character of the city, enrich lives through free and live music, and illustrate the importance of vibrant public places.

Anyone can vote online starting in November running until November 21, you can sign up to vote on the website. The top 25 proposals will be reviewed by the Levitt Foundation who will select and name the winners on January 5, 2017!

This event has previously featured artists such as Logan Brill, Railsplitters, Christiana Drapkin, and Stitch Early.

Don’t forget to vote for Frederick and be on the look out for more information!
