This Week- August 29

Despite what the calendar is telling you, summer isn't over yet, folks! The warm weather fun is far from finished:

Downtown Frederick Farmer's Markets
Tuesday's Carroll Creek Farmer's Market came to a close last week, but there are still plenty of opportunities to pick up farm-fresh goods downtown. Check out the Everedy Square & Shab Row Farmer's Market on Thursdays (3-6pm in the parking lot next to Frederick Fudge & Ice Cream) and the Frederick City Market on Sundays (9am-1pm in the Carmack Jays lot).

Thursday- Free Yoga on the Creek
Join Sol Yoga at the amphitheater for a free morning yoga practice at 7am. The hour-long class is open to all skill-levels. Bring your own mat!

Thursday- Stitch by the Creek with the Knot House
Knitting circles are made cool by our friends at the Knot House. Bring your knitting and/or crocheting supplies and Stitch by the Creek! 9am-11am at the amphitheater.

Thursday- Alive @ Five
We're ringing in September with Alive @ Five featuring the 8 Ohms Band. Come check out this horn-heavy-funk group and of course, get your happy hour on, too!

21+ only; $5 entry fee. Cash and cards accepted. Proceeds from Alive @ Five benefit Downtown Frederick Partnership, and are reinvested right back into projects that make Downtown Frederick a better place. A happy hour you can feel good about!

Saturday- Dog Days of Summer
September First Saturday is one for the dogs. Come celebrate the Dog Days of Summer in dog-friendly Downtown Frederick! Bring your four-legged friends downtown for dog-friendly dining, the Yappy Hour Flying Dog Beer Garden and more. Get all dressed up for the chance to win great prizes! This year's judging categories are: Dog/Owner Look-a-Likes, Hottest Dog (Small Breeds) and Coolest Dog (Large Breeds).
