This Week- July 25

Tuesday- Levitt AMP Frederick Music Series
Week six of the Levitt AMP Frederick Music Series brings you a night of Americana with two wildly talented musicians. Opening the show at 5:30pm is Kyle Cox, a Nashville-based singer-songwriter who draws influence from greats like Willie Nelson and John Prine. The Christian Lopez Band will headline the show from 7-8:30pm. At just 20 years old, Christian will blow you away with his soulful sound.

Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and a picnic, if you wish! The Carroll Creek Farmer's Market runs from 4:30-7:30pm, so stop by for fresh produce, hummus, or grab a sandwich from a food truck.

Levitt AMP Frederick Music Series is free and open to the public thanks to the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, a private family foundation that empowers towns and cities across America transform neglected public spaces into thriving destinations through the power of free, live music (learn more here). A huge thank you also goes to Frederick County Public Libraries and Frederick Playlist for making these series possible!

Thursday- Alive @ Five
Another week of kickin' it old school at Alive @ Five, this time, with the well-loved 19th Street Band. The trio integrates modern elements of rock, country and Americana- their energy is the perfect way to kick off another summer weekend. Like always, Brewer's Alley beer will be flowing, Spin the Bottle Wine Company will be pouring wine and [ice cold] sangria. If you're hungry, grab a bite from Shuckin' Shack or Double K Farms.

21+ only; $5 entry fee. 5-8pm. Cash and cards accepted. Proceeds from Alive @ Five benefit Downtown Frederick Partnership, and are reinvested right back into projects that make Downtown Frederick a better place. A happy hour you can feel good about!
