Take a bite out of Frederick’s food scene with a Taste Frederick Food Tour! The Market Street Food Tour takes you through some of Frederick’s historic and cultural gems by way of six delicious tastings from local restaurants and specialty food shops. You’ll taste local favorites including Mediterranean-inspired artisan chocolates, a unique spin on crab macaroni and cheese, and locally brewed beer inspired by colonial Maryland to name a few. There will be stories, crafts, and at the end of the evening all the stuffed friends will have a slumber party! MET Lab Reading Series: Dorina’s Story | 8:30 PM- 10:00 PM | Maryland Ensemble Theatre
Check out a staged reading at the MET! Dorina’s Story takes place during a Sunday brunch in North London. Dorina has the brunch to celebrate the publication of her first story in English. Her very odd and unusual friends come to the house for the celebration. But then Sarah, her boss, appears, and everything goes haywire.

Grab a leash, because it’s a beautiful day to cruise the town with man’s best friend! Paws in the Park is a community dog walk series happening the fourth Sunday of each month during the summer of 2016 along Carroll Creek. The group will meet at 10 am in front of C. Burr Artz Library. All well-behaved dogs, and people, are welcome! for more information and to register.

Join Kevin Cole in his weekly comedy show presented by MET-X as he welcomes a panel of comedy writers, actors and special guests to discuss the events of the past week, life and whatever else comes to mind. Admission is free, more information is available, here.
2016 Summer Concert Series- Incendio| 7:00 PM- 8:30 PM | Baker Park Bandshell
What better way to wind the weekend down than with some outdoor music? Head over to Baker Park to relax and enjoy the summer weather with Celebrate Frederick’s free summer concert series. Formed by Jim Stubblefield, Jean-Pierre Durand and Liza Carbé in the summer of 1999, Incendio (which means “fire” in Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish) became a vehicle for the influences and compositional talents of the three musicians. Echoes of music ranging from classical, to jazz, to rock, to flamenco, to Celtic, to even bluegrass can be heard in Incendio’s music. It is no surprise that this eclectic blend of influences has led to a sound that is a truly unique one. For more information, click here.
Frederick’s 4th Fireworks Show| 8:30 PM- 9:00 PM| Baker Park
Sit on the grass, potluck at the picnic tables, and enjoy the long anticipated rescheduled fireworks! The park will be open for seating as early as 6:00 PM. For more information, click here.
