Escape the heat and catch the MET’s provocative summer “dramedy” by Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning Tracy Letts (author of Killer Joe). This provocative comedy explores the challenges of embracing the past, facing the future, and the redemptive power of friendship. For more information, click here. Embark on your own adventure this weekend with the MET’s showing of the Fun Company’s original production of the Amazing Interactive Adventure 2! This highly interactive show allows the audience to become playwrights and directors in order to guide Charlie through a magical journey and win the most important game of her life. Bring a picnic basket, a blanket, and spread out on the grassy hillside behind Shab Row for three hours of live music! Interactive intermission entertainment will be provided by local comedy troupe, the Comedy Pigs. Come out to catch some rays (and some laughs) with us!

·                     2016 Summer Concert Series-The Boilermaker Jazz Band | 7:00 PM- 8:00 PM | Baker Park Bandshell| 
What better way to wrap up Father’s Day than with some live outdoor music? Grab dad and head over to Baker Park to relax and enjoy the summer weather with Celebrate Frederick’s free summer concert series. The Boilermaker Jazz Band is known for making any crowd move. The band also features female singer Jennifer McNulty, who adds a touch of sophistication to the group, with her smooth and sultry vocal stylings. This critically acclaimed band has performed at major venues around the world—including the Lincoln Center and the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Chicago Summer Dance, the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C., The Edinburgh International Festival in Scotland, and The Jeju Island Swing festival in Korea. Their music has been featured on radio shows nationwide and recently featured on Fox TV show “So You Think You Can Dance!” for a spectacular Lindy Hop routine. For more information, click here.

Join Kevin Cole in his weekly comedy show presented by MET-X as he welcomes a panel of comedy writers, actors and special guests to discuss the events of the past week, life and whatever else comes to mind. Each episode is audibly recorded and released as a podcast the following day. Admission is free!

  1. I come to this place every now and then. The place is really nice, the crowd is full of regulars, and the food and drink specials are pretty good! The staff at venues in NYC is great and really gets to know your name. Totally worth your time on any night for good food and drink.
