For over five years, Downtown Frederick Partnership has teamed up with some of Frederick's most fashionable downtown shops to host a fashion social, showcasing the area's trendiest ensembles. With fashion inspiration emanating from chic cities like Washington D.C. and Baltimore, MD, local downtown boutiques offer something for everyone.

The Downtown Collective Fashion Show will feature styles from Aspire, Ec'clectibles, Erica Burns Designs, Molly's Meanderings, Shabby Chic, Silk&Burlap, TLC Bridal Boutique, Velvet Lounge and Zebop, as well as hair and make up styling by JKW Beauty.

Specializing in unique and elegant fashions, Aspire is a boutique for women of all ages. Shopping is done in a welcoming, comfortable environment where you can find a variety of sizes, styles and price points. The boutique has been serving its customers for 8 years with outstanding customer service, making sure you find styles that make you feel confident and happy. Owner of Aspire, Eileen Foley-Breck, says, "We love the collaboration of all the downtown stores. It's a wonderful environment in which to showcase all Frederick has to offer in the fashion and home goods industries."


Ec'clectibles recently celebrated its 12th anniversary, and is dedicated to shopping the world to bring unique and heartfelt items to you for your gift giving needs. This shop prides itself in offering "something special for everyone!" Ec'clectibles is excited to introduce you to UNOde50 Jewelry. UNOde50 was founded in the late 1990s by a group of designers in Madrid, Spain, who resolved to establish a jewelry fashion brand that would break all existing moulds. The brand started out with the original and exclusive philosophy of creating only 50 units of each design, thereby supplying the trademark name. The jewelry is an amazing fusion of tradition and modernity, and has an artistic handcrafted quality that makes it a must have for your jewelry collection.

Erica Burns Designs:

Aesthetically designed. Simplistic and understated with a hint of edginess. Erica Burns Designs strives to create jewelry that is organic, a bit wonky, delicate and feminine. Using recycled metals, each piece is handcrafted in the Downtown Frederick studio. Owner and designer, Erica Burns turned her lifelong passion for accessories and crafting into a Downtown Frederick business in 2015 and has been thriving ever since. 

JKW Beauty:

For picture-perfect beauty, JKW Beauty is an expert. Having recently opened in Downtown Frederick within the last few months, JKW Beauty is a dynamic and intimate small team of experienced makeup artists, hair stylists, and airbrush-tan specialists that offer beauty services for any special event. Owner Jordan (Winn) Lewis is looking forward to doing modern and trendy looks for the models of the fashion showcase. 

Molly's Meanderings:

For more than 15 years, Molly's Meanderings has been offering chic apparel and fabulous gifts in a relaxing shopping environment. Striving to offer an exceptional and personal shopping experience, with offerings from Brighton jewelry and handbags to small American made clothiers. This downtown boutique believes that apparel and accessories are a reflection of who you are and should make you feel your best! Owner, Leslie Atanasoff is looking forward to having a focus on fashion from downtown merchants. She says, "This is where you find on trend fashion and something different than what your typical chain stores offer. 

Shabby Chic:

Shabby Chic Boutique carries clothing for women that want the latest styles, comfortable fit and reasonable prices for all sizes and ages. New merchandise arrives daily, providing customers with fresh wardrobe option that range from trendy to timeless looks.


Focused on encouraging their customers to create their own style evolution, Silk&Burlap provide lasting beauty through smart, accessibly style with unique apparel and women's accessories. Six years ago, owners Angelique Hoffman and Saule Smariga joined together to bring to life their dream of a thriving Downtown Frederick boutique. With Angelique's history as a District Manager for Williams-Sonoma and Saule's experience as a Buyer with Nordstrom, the pair strikes great balance which has led to the creation of a perfectly balanced lifestyle boutique. Their passion for creating warm interiors with a collected-over-time feel, and their love for the ever-changing, always evolving world of fashion blended effortlessly to create a uniquely curated boutique with a focus on made in the USA fashion and accessory brands, vintage up-cycled furnishings and unique wares for the modern home that will keep you inspired from season to season. Their passion and commitment for local charities has led to the development of several annual events that give back to their local community. Silk&Burlap is looking forward to supporting the Partnership, the community, and keeping Art and Fashion alive in Downtown Frederick.

TLC Bridal Boutique:

Founded 13 years ago on the concept of offering value without sacrificing quality and service, TLC Bridal Boutique believes every bride deserves excellent customer service and attention to detail. Owner, JayJay Bidle is looking forward to getting more involved with all the fun that Downtown has to offer and showcasing beautiful gowns for the brides-to-be.

Velvet Lounge:

This trendy, laid-back shop has been serving business in Downtown Frederick since its opening in 1998. Velvet Lounge is a women's clothing boutique that carries fun brands such as Free People, Splendid, Volcom, Obey, Steve Madden, Free Bird, Frye and Rebecca Minkoff. Specializing in individuality, owner April Reardon is excited to show off the shop's style. "We are definitely looking forward to putting some really cool outfits together to show off. We are also looking forward to the high energy action and reaction from the crowd!" 


Fun and funky fashion is nothing new for this offbeat, free-spirited downtown shop. Having made it's way to the Downtown Frederick scene 12 years ago, in 2004, the shop has brought its own lively nature and eccentric style to town.
