  • "One Vast Hospital": Frederick's Civil War| 2:30-4:30PM | National Museum of Civil War MedicineNational Museum of Civil War Medicine Research Director, Terry Reimer, will reveal the secrets behind Frederick's use as a hospital during the aftermath of the 1862 Maryland Campaign. The talk will take place in the Museum's Delaplaine-Randall Conference Room and is included in admission to the Museum. It is free for Museum members! Click here for more information!
  • Lunch Date | You pick the time and place! | With over 50 eateries to chose from downtown, why not grab a friend and go for lunch at a local restaurant! There have been many recent grand openings, so pick a place and fill up on the yummy goodness!
  • Art Walk | Did you know that most of the art galleries downtown are open on Saturdays? While you're perusing the streets of Downtown Frederick, stop in to warm up and take in the beautiful artwork of local artists!

  • FCME Model Train Open House | 1:00-4:00PM | Frederick County Society of Model Enigneers Club Car |  The FCSME Catocin Central Railroad operating exhibit is a 56-foot HO scale layout housed inside a 70-foot, six-door Chesapeake and Ohio horse car. Out with the Cold...


Summer 2016 in Downtown Frederick @ Carroll Creek Amphitheater

We have another fun-filled summer coming up and we can't wait to spend it on the Creek! Music, food, drinks and sunshine are coming your way this summer!

Alive @ Five: Bring your friends and join us every Thursday night 5-8pm, May 12-September 22. Enjoy happy hour + live music on Carroll Creek in Downtown Frederick. Local beer and wine will be sold, so you must be 21 or older to join in on the fun! $5 entry.

Movie Night on the Creek: Meet us on the Creek at dusk with family and friends to relax and watch a movie every third Friday, May through October. Mark your calendars and grab a blanket + lawn chairs. All ages are welcomed at this free event!


Levitt AMP Frederick Music Series: Love music? Love fun? Don't miss out on the Levitt AMP Frederick Music Series hosted on the Creek every Tuesday night from 7-8:30pm, June 21-August 23. Food + drinks available during the performances! The concerts are free and everyone is welcomed to join in on the fun!
